  • 8 slices brioche loaf
  • 1 kg Pauls Vanilla Custard
  • 180 g chocolate, roughly chopped
  • Softened butter, for greasing baking dish
How to Make it display
  • 1. Preheat oven to 160C. Lightly grease a large baking dish with softened butter.

  • 2. Cut brioche loaf into small pieces and place in 1.5lt baking dish.

  • 3. Roughly chop chocolate & scatter over brioche.

  • 4. Pour over the Pauls custard.

  • 5. Set aside for 30 minutes, allowing the brioche to absorb the custard.

  • 6. Place the baking dish in a water bath and carefully place in oven.

  • 7. Cook for 1 hour.

  • 8. Remove from oven and allow to cool on wire rack for 10 minutes before serving.

  • 9. Serve with extra Pauls Custard.
