Mushroom Parmesan Pasta

Mushroom Parmesan Pasta

Ingredients

  • 500g spiral pasta
  • 25g Australian Butter
  • 4 spring onions, chopped
  • 250g button mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 1/2 cups Pauls Thickened Cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Australian Parmesan Cheese

Method

  1. Cook the pasta in a large saucepan of boiling water for 20-25 minutes or until cooked.
  2. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a frying pan and saute the spring onions and mushrooms for 5 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle the flour over the mushrooms and cook, stirring for 2 minutes.
  4. Combine the remaining ingredients together and add to the pan.
  5. Bring to the boil, stirring until thickened.
  6. Drain the pasta and add to the sauce.
  7. Serve immediately.

**This recipe is suitable for lacto-ovo vegetarians who have adopted a vegetarian diet for health reasons.
