Lasagne Alla Spinaci

Ingredients

  • 250g lean minced beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 x 750ml jar tomato based pasta sauce
  • 200g spinach, chopped
  • pepper, to taste
  • 100g Australian Butter
  • 1/3 cup plain flour
  • 2 cups Pauls Milk
  • 12 instant lasagne sheets, cooked
  • 250g shredded Australian Mozzarella Cheese

Method

  1. Lightly brown beef and onion in a non-stick frypan.
  2. Add tomato sauce, spinach and pepper and simmer.
  3. Melt butter in a saucepan, add flour and cook stirring continuously for 1 minute.
  4. Add milk, stirring until sauce thickens.
  5. Butter a baking dish and line with 3 lasagne sheets.
  6. Cover with 1/4 of the mozzarella cheese.
  7. Spread 1/3 meat sauce and 1/3 white sauce.
  8. Repeat layers of lasagne sheets, cheese, meat sauce and white sauce until all
    ingredients are used.
  9. Bake at 180°C for 30 minutes.
  10. Allow to stand for 15 minutes before cutting into squares and serving
